Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Deshawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Stompkick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Deshawn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Troy Stompkick!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stompkick shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Deshawn is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Stompkick with shots to the head and body - Deshawn looks very uncomfortable down there.
It looks like Jake Deshawn has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Deshawn holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stompkick tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Deshawn is trying to stand up.
Stompkick throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Deshawn because Stompkick loaded up on that one.
Deshawn on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Deshawn tries to get out of the position.

Deshawn is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Stompkick trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Deshawn is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Deshawn bucks up and throws Stompkick to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Stompkick throws a sloppy head kick and Deshawn moves out of range easily.
Deshawn throws a hook but Stompkick blocks it.

Stompkick fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Deshawn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stompkick circles away quickly and effectively.
Deshawn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Some wild striking there from Deshawn.
Deshawn lands with a nice combination. Stompkick backs away looking to recover.
Stompkick closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Deshawn quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Deshawn is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stompkick lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Stompkick has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Deshawn is trying to stand back up but Stompkick is controlling him

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Stompkick working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Deshawn looks like he's trying to stand up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jake Deshawn wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Stompkick buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Troy Stompkick dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jake Deshawn's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stompkick lands a high kick to the side of Deshawn's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Stompkick dives into guard, looking to finish.
Deshawn is rocked!
Stompkick passes into half guard.
Oh Deshawn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stompkick lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Deshawn! More strikes land and this one is all over! Stompkick jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Troy Stompkick!
