Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan comes into the arena with Haka blaring out of the sound system. Doe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lux Aeterna. John Doe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe misses with a kick to the body.
Duncan throws a sloppy head kick and Doe moves out of range easily.
Doe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Duncan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Doe fails to land with a series of punches.
Doe scores with a kick to the midsection.
Doe misses with a wild body shot.
Doe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Duncan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Duncan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doe's waist but Doe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duncan off to one side.
Duncan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doe misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duncan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Doe throws a head kick but Duncan moves out of range.
Doe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duncan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Duncan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Doe tries to land a leg kick but Duncan saw it coming and moves away.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doe throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Duncan's head.
Duncan misses with a series of wild punches.
Doe checks a leg kick nicely.
Doe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Doe tries to clinch up.
Doe lands with a kick to the temple. Duncan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Doe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Duncans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Doe lands with a right hand.
Doe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Doe lands a nice shot to the body.
John Doe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doe connects with the punch.
Doe throws a leg kick which misses Duncan's front leg but catches the back leg as Duncan tries to avoid it.
Doe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Doe doesn't manage to clinch there - Duncan circles away.

Doe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Duncan's sensitive parts.
Duncan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Doe.
Doe looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Doe lands a nice shot that snaps Duncan's head back.
A jab lands there for Doe.
Duncan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duncan shoots in and drives through. Doe sprawls well.

Doe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Duncan tries a low kick but Doe avoids it.
Duncan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Doe wants to clinch up but Duncan keeps it at a distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Doe.
Doe lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Doe throws a shot to the body.
Duncan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Doe.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Doe dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Duncan is defended easily by Doe.
Doe swats away the attempt to clinch by Duncan.
Doe lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Doe throws a low kick but it's checked well by Duncan.
Doe takes a swing at Duncan's ribcage but misses.
Duncan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Duncan misses with a straight left.
Doe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Doe's jab looks to have found its range, popping Duncan under the eye.
Doe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circle momentarily. Doe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Doe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Duncan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Duncan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duncan throws a sloppy body shot
and Doe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Doe scores with a head kick. Duncan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Duncan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Doe motions for Duncan to come forward. Doe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Doe throws a nice inside leg kick.
Duncan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Doe.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Doe connects with the punch.

Doe knocks Duncan to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?


Duncan is rocked!
Doe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Doe cracks Duncan with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Doe immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Duncan is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Doe!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Doe!
