The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lola throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Korpisuo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Lola is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Korpisuo still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Korpisuo has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lola is looking for a sweep. Korpisuo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lola escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Korpisuo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Korpisuo loads up with a big shot that hurts Lola! He's pulled Korpisuo in close but Korpisuo has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Lola survive? More strikes from Korpisuo and Lola is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
