Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pvt. Claude Dillingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Claude Dillingham and Ramon Hoost. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ramon Hoost!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dillingham.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dillingham darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ramon Hoost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hoost darts in and clinches Dillingham up against the cage.
Hoost has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dillingham after a bit of a struggle.
Dillingham tries to work over Hoost's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dillingham is pressed up against the cage. Hoost has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dillingham down to the mat. Dillingham avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hoost shoots in for a double leg but Dillingham sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pvt. Claude Dillingham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramon Hoost.

Hoost closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hoost stalling away here and it's allowed Dillingham to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dillingham has his foot on Hoost's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hoost works his way back into a safe position though.

Hoost got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dillingham has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hoost has managed to get both his arms back between Dillingham's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hoost wants to control from the top but Dillingham keeps moving.
Dillingham can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hoost controls the pace.
Hoost throws a strike but Dillingham rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hoost lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dillingham!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dillingham fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoost manages to avoid it.
Dillingham looks to land a combination but Hoost avoids it well.
Hoost fails with a takedown attempt.

Hoost shoots in and gets a takedown into Dillingham's guard.

Hoost trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Hoost is looking to work some ground and pound but Dillingham has wrist control.
Dillingham can't keep his opponent in guard - Hoost advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Dillingham is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hoost scores with a couple of nice shots.
