The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith is looking to clinch but Janice is avoiding it.
Smith closes the distance but Janice moves to the side
and Janice counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smith's knee momentarily.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Janice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Janice connects with a solid leg kick.
Smith tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith looks for a takedown but Janice sprawls well.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Janice lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Janice.
Smith takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Janice cracks Smith with a good jab.
Janice thows a body kick. Smith tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Janice scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Jason Smith has been cut.
Janice turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Janice closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Smith! Janice dives in looking to finish! Smith is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Matthew Janice decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
