The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sonnen sprawls well. Sonnen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tyler gets slowly back to his feet.
Sonnen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tyler sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sonnen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ryan Sonnen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyler shoots in and drives through. Sonnen sprawls well.
Sonnen wants to clinch up but Tyler keeps it at a distance.

Sonnen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tyler has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sonnen is looking to defend but Tyler has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sonnen! Tyler pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sonnen taps out and this one is all over!
