Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kina Penueta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Methven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penueta comes to the cage accompanied by Manu Samoa. Tom Methven is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Methven tries to score a power double leg takedown but Penueta sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Methven somewhat.
Methven shoots in looking for a takedown. Penueta tries to sprawl out of it but Methven keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Penueta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Methven moves out of range of the body kick from Penueta.

Methven is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Penueta has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Penueta!
