The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones Jr misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones Jr avoids the head kick by Pantera.
Jones Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Pantera counters with a takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pantera controlling the position from side mount.
Jones Jr tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Pantera presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Pantera is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Pancho Pantera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
