Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bert Compton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin's entrance music is Sail by AWOLNATION. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Compton. That one must have hurt.
Griffin is breathing heavily.

Compton drives through and clinches with Griffin against the cage.

Griffin gets control of Compton's arms and successfully pulls guard. Griffin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Compton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Compton's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bert Compton was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Compton connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Compton grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Griffin takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Compton cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
