Emanuel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Wizard by Black Sabbath. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emanuel drops his hands momentarily and Toyoku takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Emanuel takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Emanuel throws a wild body kick that Toyoku sees coming a mile off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emanuel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Toyoku circles away quickly and effectively.
A bone on bone clash there as Toyoku blocks the leg kick.
Toyoku throws a low kick but it's checked well by Emanuel.

Toyoku misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Emanuel.
Emanuel misses with a right hand
and Toyoku counters with a nice leg kick.
Toyoku throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Emanuel on the side of the head.
Toyoku wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Toyoku. Emanuel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Toyoku ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Emanuel pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Toyoku back to the cage. Emanuel follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Hideo Toyoku has been cut.

Toyoku drops Emanuel with a beautiful combination! Emanuel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Toyoku is looking for the KO!

Emanuel is rocked!
Emanuel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oh Emanuel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Emanuel looks up at the clock. Bad move! Toyoku lands a right hand from hell, dropping Emanuel. Toyoku pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hideo Toyoku!
