The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalainawai misses the jab.
Kalainawai tries to bum rush Riggins with a series of wild strikes but Riggins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kalainawai throws the left hand but Riggins avoids the punch easily.
Riggins looks for a takedown but Kalainawai sprawls well.
Kalainawai lunges at Riggins with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Riggins's hand.
Kalainawai looks to score with a jab to the body but Riggins is just out of range.
Kalainawai lands a nice hook to Riggins's body. Riggins takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kalainawai dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kalainawai misses with a double jab.
Riggins looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
