The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Hayate makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Lyons really felt that one!
Hayate lands a nice looking body shot.

Hayate gets a double leg takedown into Lyons's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Lyons is trying to maintain the position but Hayate is very close to passing his half guard.

Hayate lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lyons down.

Hayate cracks Lyons with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Hayate immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Lyons is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Hayate!

Tatsuyo Hayate decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
