Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janek Papieros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aarre Jortikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jortikka plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Papieros shoots in but Jortikka avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Papieros wants to clinch up but Jortikka keeps it at a distance.

Papieros moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Papieros gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jortikka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Papieros tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jortikka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aarre Jortikka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jortikka wants to control but Papieros is keeping busy.
Jortikka has a hand on Papieros's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Papieros takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Papieros is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jortikka is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jortikka flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Papieros anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jortikka and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Papieros slips an arm under Jortikka chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Papieros has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Papieros is squeezing on Jortikka like an anaconda would it's prey. Jortikka fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
