Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivo Petric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Susechin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Susechin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 5'Nizza - Солдат . Ivo Petric has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Susechin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Susechin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Petric breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Susechin has a takedown stuffed.

Petric gets a clinch.
Susechin fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ivo Petric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleg Susechin.
Susechin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Petric smiles and moves away.

Susechin instigates a clinch.
Petric really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Petric gets underhooks to prevent Susechin's takedown attempt.

Petric has hold of one of Susechin's legs. Susechin is fighting the takedown attempt but Petric gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Susechin is working an open guard so Petric takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Petric moves into the clinch successfully.
Susechin is trying to pull guard but Petric has him pressed against the cage.
Susechin is trying to break free.
Susechin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Petric smiles and moves away.

Petric dives in and scores a takedown into Susechin's guard.
Petric stands up over Susechin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Petric thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Petric slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Petric seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Susechin for as long as he can get away with.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Ivo Petric has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Susechin tries to clinch but Petric moves away

and Petric counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Petric.
Susechin looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petric slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Ivo Petric wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Susechin tries to sprawl but Petric drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Susechin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petric. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Susechin is in trouble now - Petric has advanced to mount!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Petric get's back to his feet.

Petric decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
