Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Gull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Sacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eli Gull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Sacks!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sacks closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That kick from Sacks tenderised Gull's leg. Gull is trying to keep his angry face on.

Gull gets caught napping as Sacks dives in and scores a takedown. Gull manages to retain guard.
Sacks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sacks is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gull looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sacks is one step ahead there.
Sacks passes into half guard.
Gull regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sacks.
Sacks tries to free his leg and advance position but Gull is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gull wants to sweep but no luck.
Sacks wants to pass the guard but Gull is keeping the position.
Gull wants to sweep here but Sacks controlling him for the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sacks wants to control from the top but Gull keeps moving.

Gull wants to stand up but Sacks is controlling him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sacks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gull sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sacks somewhat.
Gull defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sacks.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A shot to the liver by Gull. Beautiful body shot.
A slow jab from Gull misses its intended target.
Gull blocks a head kick by Sacks.
Sacks doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Gull to counter with a crisp jab.
Eli Gull has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Sacks.
Sacks looks gassed!
Gull checks the leg kick nicely there.
Sacks takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Gull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sacks manages to avoid it.
Gull lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sacks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gull as he avoids it easily.
Gull darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Gull throws a body punch but Sacks moves out of range.
Sacks wants to land a leg kick but Gull is out of range.
Sacks looks for a takedown but Gull sprawls well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sacks misses with a takedown
and Gull counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sacks shoots in looking for a takedown. Gull tries to sprawl out of it but Sacks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gull manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gull throws a series of punches but Sacks avoids them all with ease.
Gull goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


Sacks is rocked!
Sacks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sacks is still on wobbly legs! Can Gull finish him?
Nice body punch from Gull.
Sacks seems to have recovered his senses.
Sacks gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gull scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gull walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sacks checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gull missing with a left hand there. Sacks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Sacks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eli Gull dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Gull throws a body punch but Sacks moves out of range.
Sacks avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sacks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sacks shoots in looking for a takedown but Gull manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sacks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sacks ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sacks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gull looks to land a combination but Sacks avoids it well.
Gull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sacks manages to avoid it.
Eli Gull is winning the standup battle so far.
Gull defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sacks.
Eli Gull has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Sacks.
Sacks is breathing heavily.
Gull throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sacks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gull counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Eli Gull is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gull moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gull stuns Sacks with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sacks takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Gull clobbers Sacks with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gull misses the shot to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gull.
A cross from Gull lands.
Sacks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gull darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gull lands a nice looking body shot.
Gull scores with a hook to the body. Sacks takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gull cracks Sacks on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Sacks falls backwards against the cage. Gull follows up with more strikes that drop Sacks to his knees. Gull keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Sacks! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Gull!
