Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beta Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wande Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beta Peace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wande Killer!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Killer tries to sprawl but Peace drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Peace is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Killer wants to get back to his feet.
Peace wants to pass to mount but Killer is defending the position.
Killer is trying to stand up here but Peace is controlling him well.

Peace escapes and gets back to his feet.
Wande Killer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peace moves out of range of the body kick from Killer.
Killer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Peace feints and as Killer raises his hands in defense, Peace changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Killer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Peace is controlling him.
Peace tries to free his leg and advance position but Killer is retaining full guard.
Peace slips nicely into half guard.
Killer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Killer looks gassed!

Killer is defending against the submission attempts here by Peace.

Killer pushes Peace off but Peace dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Peace stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Killer throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Peace counters by moving into the clinch.
Peace tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Killer misses with a knee to the head.
Killer is pressed up against the cage. Peace has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Killer down to the mat. Killer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Killer misses with a head kick.
Peace fails with an attempt to clinch.

Peace pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Peace pushes Killer up against the cage in a clinch.

Peace breaks the clinch.

Peace drives through and clinches with Killer against the cage.

Peace turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Killer pushes Peace away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Peace gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Peace controls the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Peace stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Peace lands with a nice body kick.
Killer misses with a hook

and Peace counters with a shoot takedown. Killer fights it but they end up in guard.
Peace looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Killer wants to get back to his feet but Peace passes into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Killer tries to kick Peace off in order to stand up. Peace Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beta Peace dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Peace moves into the clinch.
Peace stalling against the cage.

Peace turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Peace manages to end up in side control.
Killer is letting Peace control him for a moment.

Peace stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Peace is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Killer's half guard.
Peace prevents Killer from standing back up.
Peace wants to pass to mount but Killer is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Killer is looking to escape.
Beta Peace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Killer is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Peace with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Beta Peace just wasn't active enough.
Peace avoids the head kick by Killer.

Peace drives through with a takedown into Killer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Peace stands up and waves to Killer to follow him.

Peace closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Killer is trying to buck Peace off.
Peace in side control, just content to control the action for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Peace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Peace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Killer is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Peace moves into full mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Peace cracks Killer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Peace working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Peace is landing with some decent strikes but Killer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Peace wants to finish this one by submission but Killer is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Peace.
Killer has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Peace has good solid back control here.
Peace seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Killer for as long as he can get away with.

Peace has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killer grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Killer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beta Peace dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


The fighters circling - Killer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Peace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Killer can do to turn this around?
Killer swings for the body but Peace moves out of range.
Beta Peace is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Killer misses with a takedown
and Peace counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Peace closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Killer to the mat! Killer manages to get full guard.

Killer is working an open guard so Peace takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Killer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Peace to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Peace stands up over Killer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Peace cracks Killer with a solid left hand.
Peace is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Peace sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Killer's guard.
Killer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Peace seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Peace lands a nice short elbow.

Peace is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Killer is just riding it out for now. Peace eventually gives up the hold.

Peace looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Peace wants to pass to mount but Killer is defending the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Beta Peace wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Peace attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Peace manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Killer on his heels. He'll look to pass Killer's guard now, I'm sure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, if Peace is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Peace is pressing down on Killer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Killer is holding on for now.
Wande Killer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Beta Peace showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Peace has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
