Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kabal Kill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phoenix has chosen Phoenix as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kabal Kill could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paul Phoenix's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Phoenix!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kill gets tackled into the cage by Phoenix. Phoenix maintains the clinch.
Kill is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Phoenix escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Phoenix throws a head kick but Kill moves out of range.

Phoenix forces Kill back against the cage and clinches.
Phoenix gets underhooks to prevent Kill's takedown attempt.

Phoenix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kill drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Phoenix manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kill has Phoenix in his guard.

Kill is looking for a triangle but Phoenix pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Phoenix gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kill has his feet on Phoenix's thighs here. He's pushed Phoenix off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Phoenix screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
