Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willy Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Hitoshi Masaru!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws a right hand that Masaru ducks under and follows up with a left that Masaru also avoids with ease.
Masaru will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wallace misses with a body shot.
Masaru swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Masaru throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallace fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Masaru checks it well.
Masaru throws a lazy head kick
and Wallace counters with a stiff right hand.
Masaru uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.
Wallace takes a swing at Masaru's ribcage but misses.
Wallace smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
