The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salamon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mesos.
Salamon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mesos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Salamon loads up on a big right hand but Mesos slips the punch.
Salamon swings widly with a right hand
and Mesos counters with a one-two to the body.
Salamon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mesos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Salamon to the mat! Salamon manages to get full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mesos wants to stand and escape but instead Salamon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Salamon forces his way into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
