The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Del Hombre fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Janatan, pushing him back against the cage.
Del Hombre lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Del Hombre scores with a shoulder strike.
Janatan tries to pull guard but Del Hombre holds him up against the cage and eventually Janatan drops back down to his feet.
Del Hombre lands a left hand that snaps the head of Janatan backwards.

Del Hombre is trying to trip Janatan. He has hold of a leg but Janatan is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Del Hombre persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Del Hombre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Del Hombre has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Janatan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Del Hombre is looking to stand up but Janatan won't let him.

Del Hombre is looking to work some ground and pound but Janatan has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Del Hombre makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Janatan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Janatan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Del Hombre is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
