Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mad Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max's entrance music is this is ur destiny . A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Trent Morrow was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow feints and then cracks Max's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Max down.
Morrow connects with an inside leg kick.
Max avoids a kick to the body.
Morrow throws a hook but Max blocks it.
Morrow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Max fails with an attempt to clinch.
Morrow throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Morrow tries to land a front kick but Max steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Morrow throws a push kick but Max slaps the foot to one side.
Morrow throws a front kick that sends Max stumbling back into the cage.
Max takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Morrow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Max was well out of range. Poor timing from Morrow.
Trent Morrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Max has Morrow pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Max pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Morrow tumbling to the mat - Max dives into Morrow's guard.

Max seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Max changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morrow tries to avoid it but Max manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morrow to the ground. Morrow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Morrow has control of Max's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Max regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Morrow cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

In his post fight interview, Trent Morrow started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
