The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Cleaver. Obrien does a little dance to reset his feet.
Obrien ducks under a wild hook from Cleaver.
Obrien tries to move into range but Cleaver moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Obrien fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cleaver manages to avoid it.
Cleaver misses with a right hand
and Obrien counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

It looks like Randall Cleaver has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cleaver thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cleaver just misses with a punch to the body.
Cleaver lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Obrien circles away quickly and effectively.
Cleaver slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cleaver lands a glancing blow to the side of Obrien's head.
Cleaver throws a hook but Obrien avoids it easily.

Cleaver connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Cleaver misses with a looping right.
Obrien stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Obrien wants it to stay on the feet.
Cleaver tests Obrien's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Obrien checks a low kick from Cleaver.
Obrien avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cleaver tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Obrien swivels and escapes.
Cleaver is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Obrien will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Obrien uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cleaver.
Cleaver tries a head kick but it misses.
Obrien throws a lazy right hand but Cleaver sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Cleaver comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Konan Obrien is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cleaver throws a jab when Obrien was well out of range.

and Obrien connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Cleaver swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Obrien throws a looping overhand right but Cleaver ducks down to avoid it.
Obrien uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cleaver.
Cleaver jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Cleaver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Obrien bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Cleaver! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Randall Cleaver's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Cleaver is breathing heavily.
Obrien trying to control but Cleaver is working from the bottom.
Cleaver tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cleaver has his foot on Obrien's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Obrien works his way back into a safe position though.
