Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari WW (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samuel Dance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ari WW!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dance scores with a punch to the head.
Dance misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from WW.

WW scores a takedown into full mount!
WW thowing shots but they're missing.
WW can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dance is looking to escape.
WW sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Dance takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
WW tries to control but Dance wriggling away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dance holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as WW tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's one minute gone in the round.
WW unloads with some shots from mount but Dance bucks and avoids them well.
WW thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
WW thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Dance wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by WW.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
WW throws some wild stikes that Dance manages to avoid easily.
WW throwing strikes but Dance uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
WW passes the guard and advances to mount!
WW fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
WW trying to control but Dance is having none of it.
WW throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Poor strikes thrown by WW there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
WW throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dance because WW loaded up on that one.
WW thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dance manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
WW content to control rather than advance.
WW wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dance keeps working.
WW is looking to stall here but Dance recovers full guard.
WW passes Dance's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
WW not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
WW missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Dance blocking the ground and pound attempt from WW.
WW controlling the action here.
WW seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dance does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dance is defending against the submission attempts here by WW.

Dance kicks WW off and gets back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dance throws a right hand that WW ducks under and follows up with a left that WW also avoids with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ari WW dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dance misses with a looping left.
WW keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
WW moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
WW takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Dance lands with a good body shot.
Dance throws a hook but WW blocks it.
Dance fails to land with a series of punches.
WW takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
WW takes one to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dance misses with a hook. WW ducked under it nicely.
Dance rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but WW moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dance jabbing away but nothing is landing.
WW fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dance avoids it really well and circles away.
Dance connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt WW covering up! Dance comes in with a big uppercut and WW goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Samuel Dance!
