Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erick Villar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stuart Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erick Villar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stuart Ward!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward slips a jab from Villar.
Ward throws a body kick that misses.
Ward swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Villar lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Villar defending well as Ward loads up on a big left hand.
Villar shoots in looking for a takedown. Ward tries to sprawl out of it but Villar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ward manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Villar fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ward to the ground. Villar is now in Ward's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Stuart Ward hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
