Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tragen Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tragen Hyabusa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tragen Hyabusa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Franco!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyabusa connects with a leg kick. Franco looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hyabusa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hyabusa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hyabusa.
Franco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hyabusa tries to avoid it but Franco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hyabusa to the ground. Hyabusa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Franco takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A punch lands to the side of Franco 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hyabusa throws a combination. Franco tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hyabusa is looking to slow Franco down with leg kicks.
Hyabusa connects with a solid leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Franco shoots in for a double leg but Hyabusa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hyabusa connects with a body shot that sends Franco's belly button to the back.
Franco tries for a takedown but Hyabusa circles away easily
and Hyabusa counters with a nice low kick that buckles Franco's knee momentarily.
Tragen Hyabusa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Franco.
Hyabusa feints a jab promting Franco to slip. Hyabusa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Franco slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Franco takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Franco shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hyabusa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hyabusa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Franco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Franco working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hyabusa lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Franco!

Hyabusa jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Franco is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Franco and Hyabusa has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Hyabusa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Franco knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hyabusa has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Franco shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hyabusa but Hyabusa pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Franco changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hyabusa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hyabusa can't do much from the bottom here.
