The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Great's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Great looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lon slips nicely into half guard.
Lon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looks like Rams Great has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lon winds up and cracks Great with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

That has opened up Rams Great's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lon prevents Great from improving his position.
Lon with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Lon tries to pass to full mount but Great defends it.
Lon lands strikes from half guard.

The cut above Rams Great's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rams Great's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
