Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kai Allard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katt Mamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kai Allard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Katt Mamma!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamma gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Allard to counter with a crisp jab.

Allard drives through and clinches with Mamma against the cage.
Allard lands a hook that snaps the head of Mamma backwards.
Mamma tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Allard digs a right hand underneath Mamma's ribcage. Mamma let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Nice body punch from Allard - that landed with a thud.
Still in the clinch, Allard scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mamma is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Allard to keep the fight standing.
Kai Allard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Katt Mamma.
Allard digs a right hand into Mamma's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mamma's gas tank.
Mamma jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Allard walks away with a smile on his face. Mamma gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kai Allard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mamma with a poor takedown
and Allard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mamma takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Allard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mamma has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mamma there as he acknowledges the shot.
Allard lands a jab to Mamma's midsection.
Mamma with a lazy takedown attempt
and Allard counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mamma looks gassed!

Allard changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Allard fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mamma takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Donk. Allard catches Mamma right on the button with a cross.

Allard has managed to clinch.
Allard is pressed up against the cage. Mamma has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Allard down to the mat. Allard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mamma takes a shot right to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allard has Mamma up against the cage in a clinch.
Allard lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Allard throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mammas head.
A nice left hand lands by Allard.
Allard lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Mamma drops down looking for an ankle pick but Allard pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mamma takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Allard scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mamma drops his hands momentarily and Allard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Katt Mamma has been cut.
Allard connects with a crisp jab.

Mamma is rocked!

Mamma gets tackled into the cage by Allard. Allard maintains the clinch.
Allard content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Mamma is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mamma tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Allard smiles and moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Allard.
Mamma is still on wobbly legs! Can Allard finish him?
Mamma takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mamma seems to have recovered his senses.
Allard is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Allard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Allard lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mamma backwards.

Mamma fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mamma is trying to break the clinch but Allard is controlling him.
Allard pushes Mamma back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mamma jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Allard walks away with a smile on his face. Mamma gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mamma is trying desperately to land a takedown but Allard is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mamma.
Allard scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Allard thuds his right hand into Mamma's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Allard is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Mamma misses with a takedown
and Allard counters with a crisp right that sends Mamma to the canvas! Allard follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kai Allard!
Kai Allard decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
