Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lieu swings widly with a right hand
and Hinges counters with a left and a right that stings Lieu.
Hinges shoots in for a takedown but Lieu shows good takedown defense.
Hinges on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lieu misses with an uppercut. Hinges saw that one coming.
Lieu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lieu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Jaxon Hinges has been cut.
Lieu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lieu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hinges walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hinges moves forwards but Lieu connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Hinges counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Hinges shoots in looking for a takedown but Lieu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hinges's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Hinges counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lieu's knee momentarily.

Lieu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hinges manages to avoid it.
Lieu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hinges takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Hinges ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The cut above Jaxon Hinges's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hinges wants to clinch but Lieu slips to the side
and Lieu counters with a huge left! Hinges is in big trouble! He's backing up but Lieu isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hinges from any more damage. A dominating finish by Lieu!
