And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jones counters with a takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jones lands a few punches from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working.
Diaz manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Jones is looking to control Diaz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?
Jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.
Diaz passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diaz passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones!

Diaz is working for a guillotine from mount but Jones frees his head quite easily.
Diaz moves to the back position.
Diaz is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Diaz working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Jones is doing well to defend. Diaz seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Jones is forced to tap and this one is over!
