Caerdinn comes to the cage accompanied by Dr. Feelgood. Gontier has chosen Three Days Grace - Break as his entrance music. Adam Gontier acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caerdinn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gontier stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Caerdinn cracks Gontier with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Caerdinn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gontier to stand back up!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Caerdinn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gontier tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brent Caerdinn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Caerdinn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Caerdinn connects with a right hand. Gontier shakes it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gontier takes one on the button.

Caerdinn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gontier sprawling to the canvas! Gontier rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Caerdinn finish him?!
