Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Barclay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Langdon Dolwilt!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barclay swats away the attempt to clinch by Dolwilt.
Barclay slips a jab from Dolwilt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dolwilt enables Barclay to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dolwilt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dolwilt is trying to control the position but Barclay postures up.
Barclay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dolwilt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barclay is looking to work some ground and pound but Dolwilt has wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Langdon Dolwilt.
Dolwilt lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Barclay fails in his attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Barclay or perhaps it was just good defense by Dolwilt which made him look bad.
Dolwilt has a takedown stuffed.
Dolwilt throws a quick inside leg kick.
Barclay closes the distance and clinches up with Dolwilt, looking for a takedown. Barclay pushes Dolwilt against the cage but Dolwilt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barclay misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Barclay has Dolwilt pressed against the cage, preventing Dolwilt from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Dolwilt has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Barclay after a bit of a struggle.

Barclay throws an elbow that misses. Dolwilt uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Barclay's guard. Nice move by Dolwilt!
Barclay can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dolwilt controls the pace.
Barclay on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barclay tries to get out of the position.

Dolwilt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

It looks like Charles Barclay has been cut.
Barclay lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dolwilt backs up against the cage.

Dolwilt fails with a takedown attempt.
Barclay fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Barclay stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barclay wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Barclay as Dolwilt shoots in.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barclay looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dolwilt is fending him off so far but Barclay persists. Nope, Dolwilt circles away and we're back to standing.
Barclay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dolwilt shoots in for a takedown but Barclay shows good takedown defense.
Charles Barclay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barclay tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dolwilt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dolwilt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Barclay shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dolwilt sprawls well. Dolwilt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barclay gets slowly back to his feet.

Barclay takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dolwilt scores with a head kick. Barclay tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


Barclay is rocked!
Barclay jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Oh Barclay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dolwilt instigates a clinch.

Dolwilt jumps guard and drags Barclay to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barclay trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Dolwilt manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Dolwilt stands up and waves to Barclay to follow him.
Dolwilt dives in and grabs Barclay's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barclay pushes down on Dolwilt's head and hops out.
Barclay seems to have got his legs back now.
Charles Barclay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Langdon Dolwilt.
Barclay shoots in but Dolwilt avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Barclay misses with a takedown
and Dolwilt makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Barclay really felt that one!

Dolwilt buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dolwilt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dolwilt fails with a takedown attempt.
Dolwilt lands a big head kick that sends Barclay to the canvas! Dolwilt follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Langdon Dolwilt!
