Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tedd Strongham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strongham thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wright if he has to take too many more of those.
Wright tries to bum rush Strongham with a series of wild strikes but Strongham uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wright takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wright has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Strongham.
Wright has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Strongham finds it's way round the side to connect with Wright's head.

It looks like Corey Wright has been cut.
Strongham moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wright crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Strongham - the referee stops the clock and Wright gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Strongham. Wright manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Strongham has Wright pressed against the cage, preventing Wright from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

A very excited looking Tedd Strongham rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
