Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Nizami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Belford Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nizami comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Company. The crowd seem to be enjoying Scott's choice of entrance music: Big Balls by AC/DC. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronald Belford Scott!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nizami shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Scott stuffs the takedown attempt from Nizami. Nizami gets slowly back to his feet.

Nizami closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Scott is looking to break free of the clinch but Nizami has double underhooks.
Nizami keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Scott's efforts to push away.
Scott is trying to force a seperation but Nizami has the dominant position.

Nizami breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Scott throws a series of strikes that have Nizami backpedaling.

It looks like Alex Nizami has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scott's corner calls for a 1-2. Scott obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Nizami moves into range and clinches up with Scott.
Scott is trying to break the clinch but Nizami has him pressed against the cage.
Scott looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nizami misses with some punches.
Scott tries to break free but Nizami pushes him back against the cage.
Nizami has Scott pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Scott manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Nizami. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nizami manages to break the clinch.
Nizami shoots in for a takedown but Scott shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nizami will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Scott cracks Nizami with a right hand to the side of the head.
Scott cracks Nizami with an open hand slap.
Scott walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Nizami drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Scott swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Nizami's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronald Belford Scott!
