Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Koepfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koepfer comes into the arena with Mongol blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koepfer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Swift as he jumps to the side.
Koepfer darts in and clinches Swift up against the cage.
Swift's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Koepfer takes one to the chin there.
Swift throws an off balance right hand
and Koepfer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Swift can do anything to dispel that myth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Swift throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Koepfer crashing down! Koepfer tries to stagger back to his feet but Swift just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Koepfer asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
