The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Beaudreaux enables Nogueira to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Beaudreaux manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Beaudreaux is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nogueira defends well.
Nogueira forces his way into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nogueira is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Beaudreaux looking for submissions off his back.
Nogueira throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nogueira not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Nogueira in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Beaudreaux tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nogueira!
