Sammens has chosen PRIDE FC - Opening as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Eirik Teigen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Valentijn Sammens's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teigen misses with a wild combination.
Sammens keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Teigen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sammens defends it nicely.
Sammens thows a body kick. Teigen tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Sammens throws a head kick that Teigen semi-blocks.
Teigen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sammens sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Teigen somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eirik Teigen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sammens stuffs the takedown.
Teigen misses with a straight right.
Sammens drops Teigen with a left and a right! Oh, Teigen is hurt - Sammens dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Eirik Teigen has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Teigen regains half guard, as Sammens was trying to land strikes.
Sammens winds up and cracks Teigen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Teigen is rocked!
Sammens slips a nice elbow through Teigen's hands, connecting with Teigen's forehead.
Oh Teigen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sammens moves nicely into side control.
Sammens lands a decent elbow from side control.
Teigen is breathing heavily.
Sammens cracks Teigen with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Sammens immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Teigen is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Sammens!
