Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Achmed Mohammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darius Butler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Achmed Mohammed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darius Butler!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler tries for a takedown but Mohammed sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Butler fails to land with a series of punches.
Butler tries to sprawl but Mohammed drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mohammed looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Butler regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mohammed.
Mohammed scoring with some ground and pound.
Mohammed throws a big right hand that misses.
Butler preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mohammed is working Butler over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mohammed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butler swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mohammed trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Mohammed in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mohammed postures up in Butler's guard and throws a big left but Butler blocks it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Butler can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mohammed working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Mohammed stands up from Butler's guard - Mohammed perhaps looking for a knockout.
Mohammed lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
No joy there for Butler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A nice combination there by Mohammed.
Butler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Butler looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mohammed lands a nice hook to Butler's body. Butler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mohammed looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Butler!

Mohammed landing strikes from the mount and Butler is in trouble!
The referee warns Butler that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

BOOM! Mohammed connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mohammed will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mohammed lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Mohammed drops a big elbow. That's hurt Butler! More shots from Mohammed and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Achmed Mohammed!
