Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddy DuRelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Velo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Velo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddy DuRelle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Velo!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DuRelle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Velo tries to avoid it but DuRelle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Velo to the ground. Velo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Velo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Velo takes a head kick and keeps coming.

DuRelle drives through and clinches with Velo against the cage.
Velo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. DuRelle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Velo wants a takedown.
DuRelle prevents a body shot from Velo.

DuRelle works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Velo can do anything to dispel that myth.

DuRelle works a leg free and moves into half guard.
DuRelle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
DuRelle frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

DuRelle jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Velo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Velo and DuRelle has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

DuRelle is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Velo looks calm but he's in trouble here. DuRelle gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Velo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! DuRelle lets go of the hold and Velo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
