McCulloch's entrance music is Drowning Pool - Bodies. A fine choice. Michael McCulloch could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bob Bob's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael McCulloch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Bob!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bob cracks McCulloch with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bob Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bob. McCulloch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bob slips under a jab from McCulloch.
Bob rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCulloch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A combination from Bob does no damage.
Bob throws a right and a left that McCulloch avoids nicely.
McCulloch throws a big shot that misses.
McCulloch swings for the body but Bob moves out of range.
McCulloch digs a good hook to Bob's body.
McCulloch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCulloch takes a swing at Bob's ribcage but misses.

Bob misses with an uppercut

and McCulloch counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bob!
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bob tries to reverse the position but McCulloch maintains control.
Bob tries to lock up and control but McCulloch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Bob is desperately trying to improve his position but McCulloch has a good base and remains in mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McCulloch lands a big shot there that rocks Bob but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
McCulloch scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bob?

McCulloch has hold of Bob's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bob manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bob wants to control but McCulloch is having none of it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McCulloch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You get the feeling that Bob really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bob wants to hold on but McCulloch pushes him away.
McCulloch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McCulloch cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bob's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bob is bucking up trying to escape but McCulloch cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bob tries to buck McCulloch off but he can't manage it.

Bob regains half guard.

McCulloch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bob defends it well.
McCulloch is taking a breather. Bob says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bob lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McCulloch circles away quickly and effectively.

McCulloch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

McCulloch thows a left - swing and a miss!

McCulloch shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
McCulloch content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Bob is trying to maintain the position but McCulloch is very close to passing his half guard.
Michael McCulloch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McCulloch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bob.
McCulloch is looking to wear down Bob with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

McCulloch cracks Bob with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

McCulloch is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Bob is forced to tap! Great finish!
