Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Rujonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rujonen comes to the cage accompanied by Cant be touched - Roy Jones Jr. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Streight Up Menace kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Mikko Rujonen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rujonen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rujonen lands a nice looking body shot.
Rujonen lands a slapping body shot.

Rujonen gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gracie being controlled here momentarily.
Gracie postures up.
Gracie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gracie postures up in Rujonen's guard and throws a big left but Rujonen blocks it.
Rujonen wants to control the position but Gracie says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Gracie lands with a punch from half guard.

Gracie thows a huge punch but Rujonen dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A combination from Rujonen does no damage.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rujonen is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Rujonen circles away and we're back to standing.
Rujonen is breathing heavily.
Rujonen just misses with a punch to the body.

Gracie gets a clinch.
Rujonen wants to break the clinch but can't.

Gracie turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gracie manages to end up in side control.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rujonen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Rujonen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rujonen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Rujonen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Rujonen wants to stand up but Gracie is controlling him.
Rujonen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rujonen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rujonen is trying to control the action in half guard but Gracie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rujonen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gracie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gracie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gracie!
Rujonen tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rujonen is trying to get back to his feet.

Gracie lands a decent elbow from side control.
You can see the frustration on Rujonen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Rujonen kicks Gracie off and gets back to his feet.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Gracie shoots in but Rujonen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mikko Rujonen will probably get the nod.

Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gracie has closed the distance and engaged Rujonen in a clinch.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rujonen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rujonen can't break the clinch.
Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rujonen fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mikko Rujonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Gracie.
Rujonen wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.

Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rujonen sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gracie wants to control but Rujonen is keeping him busy.

Gracie winds up and cracks Rujonen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Gracie is nestled in close to Rujonen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rujonen scores with a sloppy right hand. Gracie should have avoided that one.

It looks like Dennis Gracie has been cut.
Gracie shoots in but Rujonen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rujonen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gracie takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rujonen scores with a one two! Gracie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Rujonen lands with a big left! Gracie is wobbled badly! Rujonen comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Gracie to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
