The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis just misses with a punch to the body.

Johnny Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sheikh Hasina Wazed.
Wazed shoots in looking for a takedown but Davis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wazed's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Davis throws a hook to the side of Wazed's head but Wazed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wazed circles away quickly and effectively.
Davis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wazed.

Wazed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wazed closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Davis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wazed.

Wazed tries to lock up and control but Davis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Davis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wazed takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Davis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
