PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cactus Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Zuckor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zuckor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murphys - "I'm Shipping Up to Boston". Zuckor has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Danny Zuckor will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn missing with a left hand there. Zuckor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Horn takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Zuckor tries to clinch but Horn moves out of range.
Zuckor looks gassed!
Zuckor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Horn paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Horn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Zuckor momentarily.

That has opened up Danny Zuckor's cut even more.
Zuckor tries to clinch but Horn moves out of range.
Horn bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Zuckor! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horn stays in close to Zuckor's body and controls the position.

Horn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Horn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zuckor can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zuckor's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Horn postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zuckor looks a forlorn figure.
Horn won't let Zuckor get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Horn lands a big shot there that rocks Zuckor but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Danny Zuckor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
