Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Haskil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones Jr - Can't Be Touched. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Haskil!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Evans.
Haskil closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Haskil forces Evans back against the cage and clinches.
Evans takes an elbow to the temple.
Haskil blocking some punches.
Evans tries to throw a body punch but Haskil avoids it by throwing Evans back against the cage.
Evans goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Evans has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Haskil is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Evans struggles to land a body shot inside as Haskil controls his hands.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Haskil.
Haskil prevents a takedown attempt there.
Evans misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Evans swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Haskil scores a nice knee to the body.
Evans has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Haskil after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Evans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Evans has Haskil pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Evans pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Haskil tumbling to the mat - Evans dives into Haskil's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Evans trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Haskil kicks Evans off and gets to his feet.
Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haskil manages to avoid it.

Evans moves out of range of the strikes.
Evans looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Haskil!
Haskil tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Evans cracks Haskil with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evans lands a nice shot to the head.
Evans throwing strikes here but Haskil is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Evans misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Evans has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Haskil is rocked!
Evans thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Evans has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Haskil's face.
Haskil is still in real trouble! Can Evans finish him?

Evans postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Haskil is out cold - huge knockout for Evans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sean Evans!
Sean Evans got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
