Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Piter De Vires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauly Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pauly Dee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee looking to score a takedown here. De Vires is defending well but Dee drives through and ends up in De Vires's guard.
De Vires tries to land a sweep but no joy.
De Vires utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
De Vires avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
De Vires working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dee.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Dee is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Dee breaks De Vires's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Dee looking to sit in guard and control but De Vires gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
De Vires sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dee's guard.
Dee tries to roll over but De Vires keeps him under control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
De Vires working over Dee with some ground and pound. Dee looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Dee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

De Vires ducks under a wild hook from Dee.
Dee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches De Vires napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. De Vires knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dee cracks De Vires with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee warns De Vires that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
De Vires is rocked!
Dee loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have De Vires scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dee land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dee stands and salutes the crowd.
