The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Says sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Says takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jones clinches up against the cage.
Says wants a takedown.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Says is trying to pull guard but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones lands a body punch.
Says goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.
Jimbo Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Says.
Says misses with a knee strike.
Says drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones scores with a shoulder strike.
Says fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Says tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jones just stands there and leans against the cage.

Says is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Jones throws a knee to the head but misses.
Jones presses Says against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Jones is trying to break free.
Says is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jones lands a hook that snaps the head of Says backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Jones.
Says keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Jones as Says tries to tie him up.
Says tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Says drops back down to his feet.
Jones lands a shot to the body.

Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Jones throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sayss head.

Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones lands a glancing blow to the side of Says's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones lands a jab to the head.

Says is rocked!
Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Says is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Says momentarily.

Jones closes the distance and clinches.
A short right from Jones.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Jones.
Says prevents Jones from breaking the clinch.
Jones makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
Says tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Says somewhat.
Says seems to have recovered his senses.
Jones clobbers Says with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jones counters with a big right hand! Oh Says is in trouble here! Jones follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Jimbo Jones decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
