With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Beugina Unki!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuma lands a nice leg kick that just misses Unki's sensitive parts.
Unki fails with the takedown.
Unki shoots for a double leg takedown but Kuma sprawls well. He's pushed Unki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kuma lands with a straight right. Unki didn't see that one coming.
Kuma uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Kuma decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Unki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kuma shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Unki in particular looking to stall.

Beugina Unki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Unki shoots for a double leg takedown but Kuma sprawls well. He's pushed Unki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kuma changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Unki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kuma stands up and beckons Unki to his feet.
Kuma works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Unki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kuma on his heels. He'll look to pass Kuma's guard now, I'm sure.

Kuma manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Horrible takedown by Unki or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuma which made him look bad.
Kuma leaves Unki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kuma is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We're going to have a standup here because Rila Kuma wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Unki takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kuma closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kuma is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Unki has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kuma is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Unki is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Unki shoots in for a takedown but Kuma shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rila Kuma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beugina Unki.

Kuma shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Unki napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kuma is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Unki is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Rila Kuma really struggled to get his t-shirt was on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Adam's NORTHERN WILD $10 Sale logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
