Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogin has chosen real american as his entrance music. The key to victory for Raul Gonzalez has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hogin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gonzalez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hogin, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hogin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raul Gonzalez.
I think Gonzalez has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
