Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rico Podster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gendut Babi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Babi misses.
Babi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Podster throws a right and a left that both miss.
A bone on bone clash there as Podster blocks the leg kick.
Podster swinging wildly here.
Babi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Podster's guard.
Babi is in close to Podster's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Babi drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Babi as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Podster screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Babi! Nice submission victory there!
