Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kato Munechika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George StClaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munechika comes to the cage accompanied by Requiem for a Dream. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
StClaire fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Munechika avoids it really well and circles away.
Munechika uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before StClaire has time to react.
StClaire takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Munechika stuffs the takedown.

Munechika gets in close and instigates a clinch.

StClaire tries to pull guard but Munechika won't allow it.

Munechika creates a bit of space for himself and rocks StClaire with a big uppercut! StClaire tries to clinch up but Munechika pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples StClaire to the mat! StClaire covers up and Munechika unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
