The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sullivan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gartner.

so Gartner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Sullivan wants to get back to his feet but Gartner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Sullivan tries to kick Gartner off but Gartner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gartner fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Gartner postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Sullivan out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Gartner goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
